Direct phone or email links in interactions

Adding a direct phone or email link to an interaction is a great way of lowering the threshold for your customers to contact you, especially if you have a lot of mobile visitors.

You can easily attach a direct phone or email link to any element on your interaction by utilising the ‘Url’ action alternative in interaction Builder. Choose any element where you wish to add the link, click to open the actions tab for this element, and choose Url → Redirect.
If you want to use the phone link, use tel: +358123456789  instead of a website address.
In case you want to use the email link, use mailto: email@email.com

Did you know that you can also open Whatsapp from an interaction?
Choose the button that you want to redirect the visitor to Whatsapp from, and add your action as follows:

Use URL → Open in new tab and use the following URL:
https://api.whatsapp.com/send/?phone=358123456789
Add your own phone number after the phone= part.
