Custom sound settings in giosg let agents stay focused and prioritize tasks by tailoring alerts to their workflow.
In the "Settings" tab, accessible from the "Profile Card," Agents and Managers can now customize their own personal settings and configurations:
Window behaviour:
- Remember side panel: When toggled "On," the last state of your most recently opened chat window becomes the default for all subsequent chat windows.
Sounds:
We now offer three “Sound sets” to choose from:
- Soft
- Office
- Bold
They range from the most subtle to the most attention-grabbing, depending on your individual needs.
Task notification sounds differ between:
• New calls (both virtual & telephony)
• New chats
• New messages
You can loop the sound by clicking the two-arrow button. Looping means you'll hear the same sound repeatedly until someone (ideally you) in your Room responds to the request. You can also preview (or better said pre-hear🎧) each "Sound set" for each task by clicking the play icon.
Other sounds can be toggled on or off. These are not affected by the sound sets and remain the same as before.
Visitor side sound settings can be configured in the Brand editor.
